At the anniversary of the passing of Gene Gendlin, The International Focusing Institute is beginning a new event: the Felt Sense Conference. This year’s theme is Bridging Philosophy and Practices.
Harville and Helen will be presenting a workshop titled Imago Dialogue and Focusing and will be leading a keynote: Reminiscences of Eugene Gendlin.
The practices that will be featured during the conference are Focusing, Focusing-oriented Psychotherapy, Thinking at the Edge and Imago Therapy, but whatever your practice, we invite you to join us.
Presenters will share the power of Gendlin’s insights and teaching on their own lives and their work. The emphasis in these two days is the power of bridging or “crossing” areas of life and thought which had seemed separate. There will be experiential workshops as well as stimulating talks. The two days will be filled with opportunities not only to listen and learn but to interact and participate. The conference culminates Sunday morning with an informal gathering to connect and integrate the two days.
